The Literacy Workshop is a fun, engaging, and skill-building program designed to strengthen foundational language skills for children. At this crucial stage of development, children transition from learning to read to reading to learn — and this workshop is built to support that journey with a focus on comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Through interactive activities, guided reading sessions, games, and mini-projects, this workshop boosts confidence and nurtures a lifelong love for language.
 
We will target the following skills: 
 
Reading Comprehension- Reading Comprehension Strategies to understand and interpret texts Identifying main ideas, sequencing events, and making inferences Engaging with fiction and nonfiction passages
 
Spelling- Fun drills, word games, and spelling bees Rules and patterns (e.g., plurals, silent letters etc) Weekly word lists with challenges and application-based activities
 
Grammar- Sentence structure, parts of speech, punctuation Building better sentences through hands-on practice Grammar games to make learning rules exciting Editing exercises that help children self-correct and revise
