Young children have a need for order. They need to be familiar to social structures in order to be more at ease in their environment. When we teach lessons in Grace and Courtesy, children learn the vocabulary, actions, and steps required to build their awareness and responsiveness of those around them. This in turn gives children a better sense of orientation in their social structure.

My thoroughly researched pack of activities and resources will help you plan on how to work and improve on the skill of grace and courtesy and make your classroom/home a pleasant environment for children.

This unit is part of the SEL program, Social Slate that I have conceptualized and created for young learners. The program lays a strong foundation to build social and emotional skills in children. It aims at helping children to understand and express emotions, resolve social conflicts and develop self-awareness. I have referred to the research work by CASEL while creating this program. The program consists of 12 units that help teachers and parents to create right foundation in formative years of a child for enjoying a successful & rewarding personal / professional life as adults.

The well laid out information will help you to work on the skill consciously and the suggested activities can be used at any time of the day. Our adorable mascot, Skipper, the Penguin will make learning fun and interesting.
